Please check out the listings page for full details of what's going on at The Barge.
Live music is a vital part of life at The Barge - there's a gig of some kind on at least
once a week, and on the nights where there's not an official gig you might just
find a random bunch of people jamming away on the many musical instruments which are always
lying around somewhere (and remember, there is never an entry charge...
music is always free at The Barge).
Many gigs at the Barge are recorded - if you would like to listen to some of these recordings,
please visit our SoundBYTES page.
Regular live music events at the Barge include:
| Folk At The Barge (Every Monday) |
 |
Please note that as of 9th May 2011, Monday night 'Folk at the Barge' gigs have been cancelled.

| Bards At The Barge (Every 1st Wednesday of the month) |
 |
Probably the longest-running 'open mic' night in the Medway Towns, Bards At The Barge
has been going for over 13 years.
This is an acoustic jam, open to anybody who wants to get up and have a go - full PA,
guitars, bass and percussive bangy things provided, or bring your own...
or just come along and have a listen.
Get here early if you want to have a go because it can get very busy;
15 minute slots are allocated on a first-come/first-served basis, and please
be ready (ie. have your guitar tuned up) when your turn comes.
