Glenn Barnes is a singer/songwriter born and bred in the Medway Delta, Chatham, Kent. He picked up his first guitar at the age of twelve and busked every street corner and subway from north Kent to the south of France over the ensuing years.
A founder member of The Car Thieves with local singer/songwriter Andy Davis, they played numerous live performances on local radio which led to an airing on prime time Radio One. Glenn later formed Gurus of the New Millennium, a four piece psychedelic rock band, along with local engineer/producer Jim Riley, recording three albums and performing at venues and festivals across the country.
Glenn has worked with many of Medways finest songwriters and musicians including Pete Molinari and The Singing Loins, and has even recorded in Billy Childishs legendary bathroom!
Six-piece folk-rock/acoustic outfit. Their influences include Fairport Convention, Seth Lakeman, Paul Weller, Beirut, The Band, Richard Thompson, The Albion Band, and lots more.
Andy writes wonderfully evocative songs on guitar and piano which paint a fascinating portrait of life in 21st century England. Come and enjoy one of the finest new voices on the UK folk and acoustic scene.
If you love great male singer/songwriters who love storytelling like Dylan, Mike Scott, Rufus Wainwright, Phil Ochs, Springsteen then you'll love Andy.
Greg McDonald is an English singer-songwriter, who has been compared to Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Leonard Cohen and called a "genius songwriter" by Rolling Stone.
Greg grew up in East Anglia, where, with school friend Nick Morley, he formed cult outsider indie band and John Peel favourites The Dawn Parade, before going solo in 2007.
Greg's songwriting has won Single of the Year awards from America's Rolling Stone and high praise from British journalists and fellow songwriters Robyn Hitchcock, Tom Robinson and Show of Hands to name a few.
Greg's songs have received extensive play on Radio 1, Radio 2, BBC 6 Music and XFM, and made fans of Mark Radcliffe, Steve Lamacq and Record of the Day. Greg has recorded with Radiohead / Muse producer and longtime John Leckie partner Chris Brown, and Editors / Carina Round / Annie Lennox producer Gavin Mongahan.

Monday 19th April 2010, 9pm Lee Westwood and Philippe Barnes

Purveyor of finest king size blues, delivered live and direct. Percussive and dynamic in its nature, melodic and soulful in its heart, this boogie music shouts loud and kisses sweet.
