Not only is the pub great but Tim and his crew are so friendly. My Dog Alfie is as much welcome as I am and that means so very much to me. I have been to the Barge many times over the years but now use regular. Thanks Tim / Mike / Ellie & Mark. ps the Guiness is great but only half as good as the atmosphere and welcome. |

Im regular visitor as you know and we go back personally many years ( Mid Eighties at the Prince of Guinea )
The Barge is the absolute Best Pub I have ever been in & I have been in more than a few all over the world !
You have got it so right !
Keep up the good work !

yep its 2 days later and still hobbling but duty calls for the pool team tonight so a few lovely beers(well deserved) on we'll all be back on form! |

It just proves that beer can be good for your health. The prospect of a free pint each spurred us on to the end!!!!!!!! Great day boys... lets go again next year to defend our trophey...... now i'm hobbling off for a cup of tea. Two days later and i still can't walk!!! :P |

what a win for the barge boys!!! A bunch of alcohlics turn up for a charity footy tournament for a laugh, and go all the way and win it, and to do so with such grace!! lol
